Samsung Galaxy S III now on sale
Sales for the new Samsung super-phone go live in the UK.

It’s a phone! The best of phones.
The wait is over, the Samsung Galaxy S III goes on sale in the UK today as well as 27 other countries in Europe and the Middle East.
Anyone with a pre-order can head down to London’s Westfield shopping centre and personally pick up the handset. Everyone else will have to wait until tomorrow.
Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich it has a large 4.8-inch Super Amoled screen and quad-core Samsung processor. The extra processing power enables a number of exciting new features including Pop-up Play.
If you’re watching a movie on the smartphone but need to check your email, a simple click will shrink the video down to a thumbnail that can be positioned anywhere on the screen. You need never stop watching, taking multi-tasking to a new level on a smartphone.
And if extra productivity is your thing, the Galaxy S III introduces S-Voice, a voice-activated assistant rather akin to Apple’s Siri.
If you’re not in less of a rush to get your hands on a Samsung Galaxy S III you can check out the offers at the Tesco Phone Shop with contracts starting at £29.
