Google debuts browser-integrated weather
Typing ‘weather’ is now enough for Android to provide a full forecast.
Google can't make it sunny, yet.
If you didn’t think Google was clever you might now, as it has just introduced a new weather service built right into your favourite Android device.
Just open the default browser and type ‘weather’ into the address bar and Google, along with its usually excellent search results, will now also provide a detailed, 10-day, location-aware weather report with temperature, wind and rain – including charts and values in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
It might not change the world, but as far as we’re concerned it’s the little touches that make life that bit easier. Now, if Google can make the sun shine too…
