Google Street View goes underwater
Google Maps now offers an underwater tour of the Great Barrier Reef.
Google Maps is going off road and into the deep. If it wasn’t handy enough that Google Street View shows you a street-level view of the UK, Google has decided its going to extend its service to the seemingly not-so murky depths of the sea. We guess when you choose the Great Barrier Reef to dive in you’re sure of clear waters.
The new panoramic tours will help you explore the seas around Australia, Hawaii and Philippines. Taking in such exotic sea life as turtles, manta rays and ocean sunsets.
