Now TV makes Sky available on demand
The new Now TV web service will deliver Sky shows to your phone, tablet and computer.
Sky TV is coming to an internet-connected device near you and this time you won’t need a subscription.
Rather than using pay-TV packages on contract, the new Now TV service will sell you programmes direct and online so you can tune in at home or on the go from your smartphone or tablet.
Set to launch in the summer, Now TV will start by offering films on demand, with the long-term goal of making sports events and other Sky programmes available on a pay-as-you-go or monthly option without the need for a fixed-term contract.
Sky TV already offers some streaming options to existing customers through Sky Go and the Sky Sports app, but Now TV will be a much more wide-ranging service. No pricing details have been released as yet but stay tuned to the latest developments at nowtv.com.
