Will we be seeing a 3G version soon?

Rumour has it that Google is working on a 3G version of its Nexus 7 tablet. A 3G model would be a logical step forward for the smash-hit Android tablet, enabling it to connect to any mobile phone network while on the move, providing fast internet access, texting and voice calls.

It’s being reported that Asus is gearing up to release the 3G version of the Nexus 7 in mid-October. This hasn’t been confirmed by Google, Asus or any mobile network but the source, MoDaCo, has leaked reliable information in the past.

If true, it’s going to make this must-own mini-tablet even more essential.
