The real Instagram camera
The concept Socialmatic Instagram camera is confirmed as a real Polaroid project.
In May 2012 ADR Studio created a concept Socialmatic Instagram look-a-like camera. It’s a real camera capable of taking photos and printing them out on the spot – for a bit of real-life photo sharing.
It seems that Instagram liked the idea so much, it has signed up instant-photo specialists Polaroid to make the camera a reality.
Antonio de Rosa the CEO of Socialmatic was understandably excited describing this as: “a small revolution in digital photography, filling the gap between virtually and reality.”
The camera isn’t expected to arrive until 2014, it seems Polaroid can’t do everything instantly.
