What do the different sound enhancement features mean?

Recording in ‘stereo’ enhances the played back sound quality whereas ‘Dolby Surround Sound’ creates a more cinematic audio experience by using 6 separate channels for sound. ‘Audio dubbing’ allows soundtrack and/or commentary to be added to the footage at editing stage.
